About me:

Gaspar Battha is a Berlin based designer who creates works in new media art and technology, visual design, interaction design, motion graphics and projection mapping.

I started out with graphic design, painting, video and animation. After working for a while with video and projections I became more interested in it's relation to physical space and I started to experiment with projection mapping techniques. Together with other artists and different agencies I realized numerous projects within this field, designed light shows, concert, party and theater visuals, various installations, from artistic purposes to advertisement. During my studies in Vienna and Berlin I became more and more interested in new media and the relation of art and technology. I look at this field as a basis for innovation, or as to take computational knowledge and use it to design objects, tools, interaction, aesthetic or anything our needs necessitate.
